1952

Lanco Toys Foundation

In the context of the industrial boom in Catalonia, businessman Alfredo Benet founded Lanco Toys: the first company in the world to produce 100% latex items. The company's innovative designs will quickly start to win over customers in the Spanish market. The items are handcrafted in Spain with top quality latex imported from Malaysia. Learning and improving oneself is part of the identity of Lanco Toys and its founder, the methodology and the experience are perfected day by day.

1960

International expansion

With a consolidated methodology and a solid position in the Spanish market, Lanco Toys begins its international expansion as the first Spanish company to attend the world's leading Spielwarenmesse toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

1970

Competitive landscape

Given the relevant success of Lanco Toys products and the good response of the market, several Spanish companies began to produce similar products made with latex. This competitive landscape will force Lanco Toys to constantly improve its production methodology and develop cutting-edge designs. Currently Lanco Toys is the only one that still exists in the Spanish market.

2003

The emerging paradigm of the toy industry

During the 90s, the European toy market underwent a change without return: new Asian producers began to sell on the European market at extremely competitive prices. Faced with this challenge, Morocco's rich culture of painting and ceramics will make the country attractive to be part of our handmade toy production process. In 2003, part of the Lanco Toys production process took place in Fez, Morocco.

2006

Expedition to new horizons

Once the new Lanco structure is consolidated, our energy is focused on continuing to innovate our designs and exploring new products and materials.
